“If you type Google into Google, you will BREAK the internet!”
As mentioned in my earlier post, I am an online marketer, and with that, a self confessed Google whore! I love everything that they do.. they can put no foot wrong with me. I love their webmaster tools and range of open sourced products.
So when I see other search engines that are up and coming, i do get a little defensive and bit like “who does this new joker think he is”.
This reaction has been no different with my discovery of Bing. Which i recently learnt is going to be the default search engine of IE6.
Not only is it the default page, but efforts to change the default are short lived and met with an error page! (sneaky b*stards)
It makes me laugh that Microsoft are always whinging about their ‘Brand’ problems, (ie the whole immensely annoying “I’m a PC” campaign) then they do something like this :/
Rant:
WTF Microsoft… you spend all that money, time and effort making out you are not in fact trying to monopolise anything and now you are FORCING people to use this new (not entirely convincingly useful) search engine!
Well let me tell you Microsoft…. i will continue using Google - because they are the best!

BTW.. on the subject of Google - Google Wave looks amazing, and i am currently more excited for the launch of that than the birth of my first child! FACT!
